Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 06 October 2025
Last Updated: 15 March 2026
Our Commitment to Transparency
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the WỌLÉ Technologies website, signing up for our merchant waitlist, or participating in any of our pilot launch fundraising campaigns, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. The WỌLÉ Ecosystem Services
WỌLÉ Technologies provides a multi-anchor platform including:
WỌLÉ Energy Finance™: Clean energy as a service.
WỌLÉ PAY™: Payment gateway integration (via Paystack).
WỌLÉ Infrastructure: Resilient trade tools for MSMEs.
Services are currently in a Pilot Phase. We reserve the right to modify or pause services as we scale from MVP to full rollout.
3. Waitlist & Pilot Participation
Eligibility: You must be a registered business or a verified entrepreneur in Nigeria (or an international donor/Luminary).
No Guarantee: Joining the waitlist does not guarantee immediate energy installation or credit approval. Selections are based on infrastructure readiness and pilot capacity.
Accuracy: You agree to provide truthful data regarding your business location and energy needs.
4. Payments & Fintech Compliance
All financial transactions via WỌLÉ PAY™ are subject to Nigerian financial regulations and the terms of our processing partners (e.g., Paystack). Users must comply with all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
5. Intellectual Property
The “6-Anchor Model,” the WỌLÉ brand, and all proprietary technology related to our energy-finance integration are the exclusive property of WỌLÉ Technologies. Unauthorized use of our trademarks or “Trade Resilience” frameworks is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the United Kingdom:
WỌLÉ Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from pilot delays or external energy grid fluctuations.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific service in question.
7. Global Donors (The Luminary or Pioneer Circles)
Contributions made via third-party platforms (e.g., IFundWomen) are subject to those platforms’ terms. WỌLÉ Technologies commits to deploying funds toward the stated mission of Climate Hope and MSME Resilience in the Global South.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Abuja, or as otherwise required by international trade law for our global partners.
9. Modifications
We may update these terms to reflect our 2026 growth. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
